Week 37 Baby Update!

At 37 weeks, baby is now the size of a romaine heart!

Symptoms: I didn’t have an update last week because I had a stomach bug and didn’t feel up to it. At this point I’m pretty well recovered, but it left me dehydrated which has made the Braxton Hicks even more intense this week. Thankfully, it was not more severe and baby is still safely growing and moving inside me. The weight of my belly is also exacerbating any hip/pelvis pain, so I’ve been wearing a belly belt lately which helps.

Favorite thing to wear: It’s still so hot to me, so shorts are still my go-to.

Activity: Trying to take it fairly easy while I still can.

Food: Besides mostly soft foods for a few days, I’ve been enjoying the individually wrapped dried prunes. I’ve been told they will be good to have postpartum too.

Milestones/Planning: Finished buying everything from our registry, so now we actually have a car seat and stroller and all the necessities! Washed and sorted all clothes, bedding, and liners for swings/bouncers etc. Down to weekly doctor appointments and now trying to get through our remaining to-dos so we can be prepared for baby to arrive this week or in 3 weeks!

Currently Reading/Watching: Finished reading What to Expect When You’re Expecting (as I was reading month-by-month) and now finishing up the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding.
