At 16 weeks, baby is now the size of an avocado so…I could eat baby in one sitting with a spoon!
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good again this week. Started getting sick, thought it was strep, got tested and was negative, and feeling much better today (hence the late post this week) – appears just to be a lack of sleep leading to a minor cold. Haven’t been very active since then because the best part about being sick is being lazy and watching lots of TV.
Favorite thing to wear: Officially wearing my first maternity item today…jeggings. I think my first time wearing jeggings too! I washed all of my maternity hand-me-downs, so ready to start integrating some of those items into the rotation.
Activity: Yoga, dancing (taught at a dance event!), walking.
Food: Cabbage is gross, can’t even stand the smell (although that’s not specific to pregnancy). Eating more fruit and looking forward to all the summer fruits being good, like peaches and nectarines.
Milestones/Planning: Trying to feel for baby moving. I thought I had a few aha! moments, but it could have been gas cause you know how that digestive system is like during pregnancy. Not really sure yet.
